    The Sharbot Lake Family Health Team is a busy rural practice located in the town of Sharbot Lake in the township of Central Frontenac.<\/p>\n

    The Sharbot Lake Family Health Team is composed of an interdisciplinary team of Physicians, Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatrist, Nurses, Certified Diabetes Educators, Dietitian, Occupational Therapist, Respiratory Therapist, Health Promoter and an Administrative\/Support team. Together we provide comprehensive, patient-centered primary care to residents in the communities of Central Frontenac, as well as, portions of North and South Frontenac.<\/p>\n

    <\/p>\n

    We provide care for a roster of approximately 3400, plus cottagers and other visitors which makes the practice more interesting and dynamic.\u00a0 Our daily schedule includes acute and minor emergency care due to the distance to the nearest emergency departments (30 minutes east to Perth, 60 minutes south to Kingston).\u00a0 We are surrounded by the rugged beauty of Laurentian Shield country with thousands of lakes, yet still relatively close to major urban centers [Ottawa 1.5 hours, Toronto 3 hours, Montreal 3.5 hours].<\/p>\n
