{"id":3875,"date":"2026-05-08T19:15:06","date_gmt":"2026-05-08T19:15:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sharbotlakefht.com\/?page_id=3875"},"modified":"2026-05-08T19:56:52","modified_gmt":"2026-05-08T19:56:52","slug":"spring-2026-community-vaccine-clinic","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sharbotlakefht.com\/?page_id=3875","title":{"rendered":"Spring 2026 Community Vaccine Clinic"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 class=\"broadcastTitle\" data-v-9ea76588=\"\"><\/h3>\n<div data-v-9ea76588=\"\">\n<div>\n<h3><strong>Clinic Details<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>When:<\/strong>\u00a0Wednesday, May 20th, 9:00 a.m. \u2013 2:00 p.m.<br \/>\n<strong>Where:<\/strong> Sharbot Lake Family Health Team Community Room<\/h3>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<h4>Vaccines available (if eligible):<\/h4>\n<div><strong>Covid-19 Booster Vaccine<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><strong>Shingles Vaccine<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><strong>Pneumonia Vaccine<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Before registering, please review the following information about eligibility :<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Spring 2026 COVID-19 Booster Eligibility:<\/strong><br \/>\nThe National Advisory Committee on Immunization (NACI) continues to recommend annual fall COVID-19 vaccination for the general population.<br \/>\nAn\u00a0<strong>additional COVID-19 vaccine booster dose<\/strong>\u00a0is recommended this spring for the following\u00a0<strong>higher-risk populations:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Adults 80 years of age and older<\/li>\n<li>Adults 65 to 79 years of age may choose to receive an additional dose this spring based on individual risk factors and personal preference<\/li>\n<li>Adult residents of long-term care homes and other congregate living settings for seniors<\/li>\n<li>Individuals 6 months of age and older who are moderately to severely immunocompromised (due to an underlying condition or treatment)<\/li>\n<li>Individuals 55 years and older who identify as First Nations, Inuit, or M\u00e9tis, and their non-Indigenous household members who are 55 years and older<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Individuals who do\u00a0<strong>not<\/strong>\u00a0meet the eligibility criteria \u2014 regardless of whether they received a COVID-19 vaccine in Fall 2025 \u2014 are not currently recommended to receive a dose at this time.
